The invasion of Ukraine is an outrage felt around the world. It has caused the displacement of millions of Ukrainians from their homes and the ripping apart of their lives. The result is a massive humanitarian crisis.
Pacific Cookie Company is donating proceeds from this sale to support the work for Chef Jose Andres with World Central Kitchen. WCK is first to the frontlines providing meals in response to such crises.
WCK is currently supplying over 270,000 meals per day to displaced Ukrainians in Ukraine, Poland, Romania, Moldova, and Hungary. We have seen firsthand how effective this organization is when it arrived here in the Santa Cruz Mountains to feed those displaced by the CZU wildfires in 2020. Our team worked to support their efforts and we vouch for their brilliant resourcefulness and fierce sense of mission.
